About MeMy name is Megan Watts. I can’t believe it, but this is my 23rd year teaching elementary school. I grew up in Arkansas and went to college at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas; where I received a great education and met and married my wonderful husband Barry. After graduating in 1999 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics; Barry and I moved to Florida where I taught Second Grade for four years.
In March of 2003, Barry and I relocated to Kansas. I began teaching Kindergarten in Wellsville, Kansas in 2003 and taught Kindergarten for 6 years. In 2009, I moved to First Grade and taught First for 6 years. In 2015, I began teaching 2nd grade at Gladden. Barry and I are blessed with an amazing son Isaac. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, watching my son play sports, jogging, cooking, and playing golf. I also have, what some might call, an unhealthy obsession with Starbucks and the KC Royals. |
